Rocamadre Criolla Valle de Uco - 2024 (750ml)
Labelled as a Rose and made from a blend of Criolla Grande, Criolla Chiaca and Pais; this wine is more inspired by the Cerasuolo wines of Italy; a liminal space between rose and red, which can take a chill and act as either.
Made with spontaneous fermentation/native yeast. This wine shows a bright purple color, aromas of spiced black cherry with a grainy, slightly drying tannic finish. This is much less fruity than most Mendoza red wines. It shows hints of vanilla and cherrywood bark in the mouth, but did not see any oak its maturation.
